Start with the operating facts

The Electrified Garage is an independent Tesla and Rivian specialist with current shops in Orlando, Florida and Amesbury, Massachusetts. Appointments are required. Diagnostic time is billed before a responsible repair estimate can be prepared, and the team explains when manufacturer warranty or recall service is the better path.

The public catalog contains five service categories. Conversion projects remain history rather than a service, and individual pack-module work is outside the advertised scope. Training routes to AutoUpskilled, and eligible financing options are described through Sunbit and Affirm with provider restrictions.

01About us

What is The Electrified Garage?

We're an independent Tesla and Rivian repair shop founded in 2019, with locations in Orlando, FL and Amesbury, MA. Our team includes ex-Tesla technicians and Rivian factory-trained technicians.

02About us

Can an independent shop fix my Tesla or Rivian?

Yes. A properly trained independent shop can diagnose and repair many out-of-warranty Tesla and Rivian issues, including high-voltage, drive-unit, charging, suspension, brake, and electrical work. We will tell you when warranty or manufacturer service is the better path.

03About us

Is Electrified Garage the Rich Rebuilds shop?

Yes. Rich Benoit of Rich Rebuilds co-founded The Electrified Garage with Chris Salvo and Chad Hrencecin. The business grew from the Rich Rebuilds community and the right-to-repair movement.

04Models

What kinds of vehicles do you service?

We specialize in Tesla and Rivian. Supported vehicles include Tesla Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, Cybertruck, original Roadster and applicable legacy models, plus Rivian R1T, R1S, R2, and EDVs.

05Models

Do you repair Rivian vehicles?

Yes. We service Rivian R1T, R1S, R2, and commercial EDVs. Our team includes Rivian factory-trained technicians, and our fleet work includes a Rivian and Amazon EDV service partnership.

06Warranty & parts

Will using an independent shop void my warranty?

Warranty-covered work and recalls are generally best handled through the manufacturer. For out-of-warranty and non-warranty service, you can choose an independent shop. We will tell you when a concern should go back to Tesla or Rivian.

07Warranty & parts

Do you use genuine Tesla parts?

We can source genuine Tesla parts and quality aftermarket alternatives where available. We explain the options, compatibility, and tradeoffs before you approve the work.

08Repairs

What high-voltage work do you perform?

Our supported work includes high-voltage battery diagnostics and replacement, drive-unit diagnosis and repair, charging systems, onboard chargers, contactors, DC-DC systems, and thermal management. We diagnose first and explain the evidence behind a repair-or-replacement recommendation.

09Repairs

What's the difference between independent repair and a manufacturer service center?

Manufacturer service centers are the right path for warranty work and recalls. An independent specialist is often a better fit for out-of-warranty diagnostics, second opinions, repairs, maintenance, customization, and supported aftermarket options.

Still deciding where to start?

If the question is about a warning, describe the symptom rather than choosing a replacement part. If it is about a used vehicle, include the listing, title history, service records, and any known structural work. If it is about a fleet, identify the vehicle type, region, number of affected units, and operating concern.

Use the contact page to choose Orlando or Amesbury. The two service requests are intentionally separate so the information reaches the location that will perform the work.
