From Seabrook to Orlando: how Electrified Garage grew

Editor's note (2026): The Electrified Garage currently operates two locations: Amesbury, MA and Orlando, FL. Seabrook and Ocala are part of our history, not current service locations.

The Electrified Garage started in Seabrook, New Hampshire in June 2019. Rich Benoit, Chris Salvo, and Chad Hrencecin built one of the first independent shops focused on Tesla service and the right to repair.

Building the New England shop

Tesla owners north of Boston needed an alternative to long manufacturer-service waits and general repair shops that would not touch the cars. The shop quickly became both a service destination and a gathering point for the Rich Rebuilds community.

Florida begins in Ocala

In 2020, Chris moved to Florida and opened the original Florida operation in Ocala. Over the next five years, the team established the brand as a trusted Tesla specialist in the region.

Amesbury becomes our New England home

The New England operation moved to 72 Elm Street in Amesbury, Massachusetts in 2021. Amesbury now serves Tesla and Rivian owners from across New England and customers traveling from beyond the region.

Orlando opens in 2025

In June 2025, the Florida operation moved to 6605 East Colonial Drive in Orlando. The larger market and facility support routine Tesla and Rivian service, complex diagnostics, performance work, and commercial EDV repair.

Where we are today

Our current locations are Amesbury, MA and Orlando, FL. Both shops use the same appointment-based, diagnose-first process.

What stayed consistent as the business moved

The addresses changed, but the operating idea did not. Electrified Garage was built around people who had worked inside manufacturer service and understood why owners needed another path after a warranty ended, when a difficult fault required a second opinion, or when an enthusiast wanted work outside a factory menu.

That means the first step is still to understand the vehicle rather than jump directly to a major replacement. Diagnostic time is billed because fault data, physical inspection, isolation testing, charging behavior, mechanical symptoms, and prior repair history all take real technician time to evaluate. The result should be a set of understandable options, not a guess disguised as a quote.

The supported vehicle range has also grown. The shops work with Tesla Model 3, Y, S, X, Cybertruck, original Roadster and applicable legacy models, plus Rivian R1T, R1S, R2, and EDVs. Warranty and recall work may still belong with the manufacturer; the team will say so when that is the sensible route.

Two regions, one intake standard

Orlando serves Central Florida and accepts customers traveling from across the Southeastern United States. Amesbury serves New England and owners who travel from beyond the region. Those descriptions reflect where customers come from; they do not suggest that Electrified Garage operates storefronts throughout every state in either region.

Both shops require appointments. The location-specific service request gives the service team the model, symptoms, warnings, and prior context before the vehicle arrives. It also prevents an Orlando request from being presented as an Amesbury request or vice versa.

Planning a visit

Choose the location that will perform the work, include photographs of warnings when possible, and share recent repair or collision history. For salvage or rebuilt vehicles, structural and body repairs must be complete before Electrified Garage performs an applicable systems inspection or supported high-voltage work.
